Pararse y pensar. Algunas reflexiones sobre la artroplastia de la cadera
Resumen
Pararse y pensar cumple y se adapta a las premisas o condicionantes con los que siempre debemos contar cuando se aborda cualquier tema científico. En la artroplastia de la cadera realizamos una serie de procedimientos de los que vamos a discutir, a la luz de la medicina basada en la evidencia, su fundamento para decidir si son ya válidos en la actualidad. Hemos hecho una amplia revisión bibliográfica de trabajos con un alto nivel de evidencia. Y en este sentido vamos a comentar aspectos como el límite de edad, rasurado, drenajes, profilaxis antitrombótica, antisepsia del campo, control de la hemorragia, etc. Y si a la luz de lo que encontremos deberemos abandonar, modificar o seguir haciéndolo como hasta ahora.Citas
